It may seem like a silly thing, but it always have problems when I want to buy kitchen draperies. Probably my favorite place to spend time in is the kitchen. It has been that way in every house that I have lived in recently, but the one I currently have is a little to small to spend a great amount of time in.

It seems adore every kitchen that I have lived in recently has been equipped with the smallest windows imaginable and as a result has left me with a selection of only small window drapes. As a result, and maybe it is just me, I can never find a set of window treatments that I truly adore.

I have spent more time than necessary searching for kitchen draperies. This is not something that I am real proud of, but it is my reality right now. I have gone to all of the stores in my town and even in the city nearby but I have yet to find anything that I like.

I understand that the process of selecting colors and patterns to match what I have does not need to be difficult, but there is absolutely nothing that is going well. I have to be able to enjoy my shades though as they are something that I am going to have to look at on a daily basis. I have a hard time finding window treatments and draperies for the rest of my house, but nothing is more frustrating than trying to find them for the kitchen.

There are currently kitchen shades on the windows in my kitchen, but they are not something that I enjoy. They have only one solid color and that is not what I wanted as I was searching for something that has a pattern to it. I understand that it is kind of a lame and petty thing to complain and whine about, but whenever I look at them they make me feel down.

I have noticed that I am not the only person that has this problem, My mom is another person who has a habit of changing the window treatments in her kitchen regularly as she can never find a set she can deal with. Granted, my mother spent half of her life in her kitchen, so it makes sense that she is never satisfied.

I am not really that correct with fabric, string, and needle, but when I look at the selection of curtains I really weigh making my own. You wouldn't think that it would be that hard. At least you wouldn't think so. There is plenty of fabric out there that I know I love as I have seen it and told myself that it would make a fabulous kitchen curtain. If I don't find something soon, I'm going to have to give in and sew. I am not really afraid to sew at all as I am comfortable doing it, it is just that I do not have a sewing machine. This means my sewing will be done by hand. The sheers that I put together by hand would doubtless pass for a pillow case before a curtain, but at least I won't have a reason to whine about the pattern.
